The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Air Filter removes over 3000 odors and gasses along with 99.97 percent of all airborne particulate matter measuring 0.3 microns or larger. It is a replacement filter for the Austin Healthmate Plus Air Purifier. Weighing 23 pounds, with a 13.5 inch diameter and a height of 14.5 inches, the HealthMate Plus Air Filter contains an inch thick barrier of 15 pounds of activated carbon impregnated with potassium iodide combined with zeolite in a ten to one ratio to absorb odors and gases. Metal end caps with foam gaskets located on the top and bottom of the HealthMate Plus Air Filter ensures a tight seal. The pre-filter traps larger particles, such as dirt, lint, and hair. Constructed of true medical HEPA filter paper, the pre-filter removes harmful airborne particles, and protects the main filter from clogging up. The free Pre-Filter is available in black, white, sandstone, and silver colors.
